Privacy policy

This page explains how information is handled on HedoroBomb's game list and game pages. Games and services on external sites we link to follow their own operators' policies.

Analytics

To understand how the site is used, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. When you visit, information such as the pages you view, the games you open, the date and time, your device and browser, and how you use the site is sent to Google and aggregated using cookies and similar technologies. We never send your name, email address or anything you type to analytics. Actions on the admin screen are not measured.

We do not show a consent screen on your first visit; analytics runs automatically. You can turn analytics off or back on for this browser with "Analytics settings" below. If you previously chose "Do not allow" in this browser, analytics stays off. The games work with analytics turned off. The setting is saved in this browser. Changing it does not automatically delete data that was already sent.

Google signals for advertising and ad personalization are turned off. For how Google handles information, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Hosting and admin login

This site is served using Google's Firebase Hosting, Cloud Functions and Cloud Firestore. These services may handle access information such as IP addresses for delivery, operation and security. The admin screen uses Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication, and uses account identifiers and email addresses to check admin rights.

Contact

What you send through the contact form (type, game name, message, name and reply address), the date and time it was sent, and your browser type (User-Agent) are saved in Cloud Firestore. We use them only to reply and respond, and only the operator reads them. To prevent mass spam, we use a value derived from your IP address to check how many times it was sent that day, but we do not store the IP address itself.

Records sent from games

Some games send play records to a server (such as Cloudflare). These include ranking times and scores, play counts per mode, answers to in-game surveys, and, in One-Stroke Magic Pitch, the shape of the pitches you throw (line shape, pitch count, difficulty and display language). All of it is linked only to a number created in your browser; no name or email address is sent. We use it for statistics, showing rankings, and future game features (such as a mode where you face pitches thrown by others). To prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions, we may use a value derived from your IP address.

Saving inside games

Some games save scores and the like in your browser. Deleting your browser's site data may also delete them.

Saving and transferring records

So that your game records are not lost, records the games on games.hedorobomb.com save in your browser (such as scores) are linked to an account created automatically for each device and stored on services provided by Cloudflare, Inc. The account has no name or email address; it uses only a random number and a transfer code. To recognize the account, a cookie is saved on games.hedorobomb.com. Entering the transfer code on another device lets you use the same records there.

You can optionally link a Google account of Google LLC. In that case, we store only a value derived from your Google account's ID number, and not your email address, name or profile picture. To prevent mass creation, we use a value derived from your IP address, valid only for that day, to check counts, but we do not store the IP address itself. You can delete your saved records at any time from the record transfer page.
