Challenges now carry your plan (Attack, Defensive and so on). Whoever takes your challenge fights you using that plan. Fixed the 6-letter challenge code not appearing for resized swords. Fixed gaps next to the guard on filled, resized swords, and the balance dot on the drawing board being off.
On the sword stats screen, pick the blade size you drew: normal, x1.3, x1.6 or x2. Bigger blades reach farther but are heavier. The drawing board is back to its original size.
Next-day rankings for win streaks, and swords up to 3 m
Added a next-day ranking for how many opponents you beat in a row (separate tables for auto and manual control). Open it from the 🏆 on the drawing screen. The drawing board is bigger, so you can draw swords up to about 3 m long. Fixed swords getting stuck in the opponent during manual control.
With Defend, your swordsman firmly blocks the opponent's swings (heavy swords can still break the guard). In 2-player mode, redrawing now starts player 2 from their previous sword too.
From a 10 m platform, where you push decides how the diver spins (head for forward flips, feet for back flips, arms for twists). Five judges score the dive, multiplied by its difficulty. A next-day ranking, tallied every midnight, was added too.
Compete with your best total distance of the day. The 10-pitch game and Endless have separate tables. Open it from the 🏆 on the title screen. Touch response on iPhone and PC is better too.

Your game records are now much harder to lose
Records such as best scores are now saved to our server automatically. If your browser's data is cleared, they come back the next time you open the game. No sign-up or login needed. The X app's in-app browser and Safari/Chrome keep separate records. To continue in another browser or phone, tap "Transfer" at the top of the game screen to get a code and enter it there.
New courses (15 in total, including Long Distance and Ultra Mix)
Storm, Tunnel, Mountain, Frozen Lake and Seabed are back, plus new Long Distance 1200 m, Ultra Mix and Ultra Mix Laps. Added a course select screen and in-game news.
Switch between pitching and batting on the title screen. In batting, you face 3 pitches drawn by other players (Normal / Hard / Very Hard). The ABS challenge now changes the count after the call, and a successful challenge is not used up. Fixed balls outside the zone flying too far.
Pick the course and the rule in two steps. Yesterday's results now cover all 6 modes, showing the top 100 with names (choose a name from regions, stations and animals). A red dot appears on the 🏆 at top right when new results are out. Adjusted "Friday Last Train x One Bump and You're Out" so it can be cleared without mistakes.
Tap "Next" for the sword stats screen, where you choose a special move, a tactic (Balanced / Attack / Defend / Distance) and the controls. Set controls to "Manual" to move with a stick and attack and block yourself. Block right before a hit for a "Just!" and a chance to counter. "Example" became "2-player battle": take turns drawing swords on one device and make them fight. You can also name your sword (shown only on your own screen).
- Practice (you can also play with no batter) - Full Game lasts 3, 6 or 9 innings, with balls, strikes and double plays - ABS challenges show a replay from the batter's side - Choose the batting side's level: Normal / Hard / Very Hard - Pitch names (sinker, slider and so on) are shown - Reworked how hits and doubles fly
New: "Yesterday's results" with the top 10 and your rank, every day
Compete with your best of the day on the regular course. The first results came out on the morning of October 14. Check them any time from the 🏆 on the title screen.
On Normal, batters are a little easier and loopy pitches fly slower. Changing speed and location from the previous batter's pitch now lets even a straight ball get an out. Hard keeps the old strength with faster pitches. Your previous best now counts as a Hard record.
Pitch names now show which way they break (right/left)
Batting is now timing-based and easier to play. Fixed a two-finger bug and an exploit that let you get endless outs with hit-by-pitches and low forkballs. Pitches that were hit for home runs now show their name and break angle too.
Results and scores now appear after you hit the water
After entering the water you see the verdict and score, and can tap to play again right away. Dives that land outside the pool or stop on the platform now end properly too.
Added the Grand Canyon course and a special-character guide
A course where you leap over canyons. Characters containing 翔, 竜, 跳 or 風 ride the updrafts. A "guide" lets you read about the special characters you have found.
Added the "Thrust" special move and "Overtime" beyond the giant Buddha
Long, thin swords start with Thrust. In Overtime, you keep fighting opponents who get a little stronger even after you beat the giant Buddha. Also fixed swordsmen swinging after the opponent is down, not swinging when the enemy is close, and making small swings while dithering left and right. They now wait in a stance that suits their special move.
Keep batting until you strike out with 3 strikes. Pitches get faster and mix speeds as the count goes up. Also, after each hit the view returns home and pauses for a beat before the next pitch.
